Brock Lesnar Suspended from UFC?
Brock Lesnar has been suspended for not passing two drug tests around UFC 200
Brock has failed two tests — one pre-test before a competition on June 28 and one from the night of the fight with Mark Hunt from July 9.
Lesnar won the fight with flying colors, but the state of Nevada has the right to overrule the result depending on the ruling of his hearing.
Lesnar faces possible repercussions from Nevada and United States Anti-Doping Agency, who looks over the UFC’s testing. Lesnar’s attorney will work with Nevada.
Athletes are allowed an exemption if their return to competition happens under certain circumstances and Lesnar’s deal to come back to the UFC happened at the 11th hour ahead of the card in July. Lesnar already came under fire after he was given a four month exemption from USADA testing from his UFC return as part of the company’s anti-doping program.
The time for Lesnar’s next hearing will be determined at Nevada’s monthly commission meeting.
